Mortgage Operational Manager 

David is a long time banker and mortgage lender with over 4 decades of experience with most of that in the Oklahoma City metro area.  He is currently the Mortgage Operations Manager for Citizen Bank of Edmond, OK.  David is a graduate of the University of Oklahoma.  He has been married to his wife Teresa for the same 4 decades he has been in the banking industry.  David has 3 successful children with spouses equally successful and 4 grandchildren who he loves to spoil.  David is the long-time chairman of the Oklahoma County Home Finance Authority Public Trust Board of Trustees.  He is very proud that they offered the first down payment assistance program in Oklahoma under his leadership.  He is also a past president of the Oklahoma Mortgage Banker Association and Oklahoma City Mortgage Banker Association.  David has been an active member of Ambucs since 1982 which is dedicated to inspiring mobility & independence.

Raymond Whitley, Jr. (Mr. Ray) is a residential real estate investor in the Oklahoma City metro area.  He has been redeveloping residential properties since 2001 and currently owns and manages over 20 properties worth $3 million dollars.

Mr. Ray was born and raised in Indianapolis, IN where he was a basketball legend before coming to Oklahoma to attend the University of Oklahoma on a basketball scholarship.  While there, he was a 4-year starter and played on OU’s 1979 Sweet 16 team that was defeated by Larry Bird of Indiana State. Mr. Ray has a BA from OU and an MBA from OCU. Upon graduation in 1982, Mr. Ray began his career in Customer Service at OG&E where he recently retired in 2019 after 36 years of service.  His last position was that of Director of Resource Coordination.  Mr. Ray is now a real estate coach/mentor to minority students.   He is married and has 2 children and is also a high stakes poker player.

Marilyn Long our Director founded NORTHEAST RESOURCE CENTER, May 23, 1997. Marilyn has been and continuously devotes her time to building the organization from the bottom up.  Marilyn is responsible for educating, motivating and empowering community members young and old.

She is a active member of a local community church where she participates in many young women ministry groups.

She has devoted countless hours to the community and its youth.  She views her service as a opportunity to serve the community by giving back and helping to make a difference, especially with young people. Marilyn stands with belief that its time for a change; because one of her favorite bible verses (Proverbs 29:13) explains that people without vision parish.  The northeast community of Oklahoma City has lost its vision and it is her mission to see that vision is restored in the community and its members.  She has served as a mentor in the programs that is offered through the Northeast Resource Center.  The programs and Miss Longs mentorship has guided young people to higher education, placed individuals in gain full employment.

Mark Norwood is the Director of Operations with Magic Services, Inc. in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. He has been working with Magic Services since the summer of 2000. He specializes in lean operations, marketing, and information technology.

Mark graduated from Westmore High School and attended Oklahoma City Community College. Additionally, Mark was an owner-operator of two Sonic Drive-In locations as well as a licensed life insurance agent and debt consolidator from 2008-2011. During his time with Sonic Drive-In and Citigroup Mark was recognized multiple times for service records, profitability, and developing other leaders within the organizations. Mark will often be heard saying “If you help enough people get what they need out of life, you will get what you need out of life.”

Mark is currently serving as President of Warmth for Waggers, Co-Chair of Northeast Resource Center, Board Advisory Member of Other Options, Inc., and Secretary of Diversity Business Association. He currently resides in North Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.
